The weather in Cancun Quintana Roo

Cancún is located on the eastern coast of the continent, so it is influenced by warm ocean currents, especially the Gulf Stream in Mexico, which fosters a warm and rainy.
The climate of the Benito Juárez municipality is included in group A, the type Aw, it's warm subtropical, with rainfall throughout the year, but more plentiful in summer.
The average annual temperature ranges from 25.5 degrees Celsius. The total annual rainfall is between 1,000 and 1,300 millimeters. Winds predominate east and southeast, during the summer the area is affected by tropical storms and cyclones. Hurricane season begins in mid-June, the months are September and affected octubre.
